This new Archive of the Present is dedicated to the artist Ishola Akpo.
 By confronting the works of Ishola Akpo, the public questions the female figures who have replaced men in these historical documents, often the only visual archives of the great kingdoms of the African continent.
 The artist takes the viewer on an adventure that was his own, following the history of African queens, and confronts us with the absence of images and stories, with a history that has been erased and transformed.
